The demin shirt contains all kinds of embroidered designs, some purchased,
some free, and some of my own making, commemorating the Bicentennial of
the State of Ohio.
The front, back, and even the sleeves are covered with Ohio related designs. |

|
The back is a map of Ohio with some cities marked, along with what they
are known for, and then of course, Interstate 70, 71 and 75 with all the
construction barrels!!! |

|
This sweatshirt is embroidered with the free designs which were kindly
offered by our digitizer friends.
They depict the terrible disaster of l Feb.
Thanks to all those who gave. |

This quilt is named "Ohio's Bicentennial 1803 - 2003". The
State of Ohio freely gave the center medallion with the silkscreened logo
to any quilter who requested it. The quilt pattern is Ohio Star, enlarged
so that I could embroider in the middle. |

|
The embroidery designs are from various sources, including Cactus Punch,
freebies, and two very special ones. The Wright Flyer in the top left
corner was digitized especially for my quilt by Dan McAllister of Jorga,
and the orange barrel was digitized by friend. Janet Lowe, of Carlisle,
Ohio. How could this quilt be complete without the Wright Brother's
airplane or our all-too-familiar orange barrels? The words in the
first white border are those of "Beautiful Ohio" and the words
in the outside white border are those of "America the Beautiful".

This has been a fantastically fun quilt to make and now I am ready to hand
embroider it. |
