New Projects!

First some pictures I should have put up a while ago.  Judy Ebo sent the following pictures of how she used the regular and Larger Art Nouveau Calla Lilies on a wonderful burnt orange linen unlined jacket.  I never would have thought of them this way, but what a fantastic jacket!  She received accolades at a sewing guild  conference.  Thanks for sharing, Judy.  E-mail Judy here.

Here is a really neat idea from Jana Barnhart.  She writes:  "about 'Heirloom Pillows':  I've been making incorporating transferring vintage pictures onto fabric & then doing an embroidery design over that. This is one of the pillows. It's a baby picture of my 90 yr old Grandmother & it was originally very tiny. I'm working on my website, to be done soon where I'll offer these, personalized, for sale. "This is the purse, checkbook/wallet, coin/card purse and cell phone case. The next picture is the same pieces with the checkbook/wallet open showing some of the many pockets. All the purses have such wonderful pockets inside and out.

"The blue and yellow is a purse with lovely pockets inside and out , checkbook/wallet, coin/card case, tissue cover, and cell phone case. The red and white is a zippered tote bag with lots of pockets inside and out, and the matching checkbook/wallet shown opened.

"The purse and tote bag are both Lazy Girl Design patterns. These are lovely patterns with very easy to follow directions. The wallet/checkbook is a very old pattern, and I believe it is Favorite Things."
